Q3 was a busy one for us. Our main goal was to make sure we are Enterprise grade as we are attracting interest from bigger companies interested in solving their meeting overload.
SynqUp is SOCII compliant
We underwent an extensive audit conducted by Ernst & Young (EY) to evaluate our adherence to the System and Organization Controls 2 (SOC 2) framework, crucial for guaranteeing the security, availability, and confidentiality of our systems. This detailed assessment included a comprehensive review of our internal controls, policies, and procedures concerning data security and privacy.
Securing SOC 2 compliance highlights our dedication to high standards of security and privacy.
Penetration testing
To strengthen our platform's security, we hired Clear Gate, a well-regarded cybersecurity company, to conduct thorough penetration testing. Clear Gate delivered a detailed report with specific recommendations and later confirmed the enhancements and corrections we implemented. The final report assessed our systems as having the lowest level of risk of compromise achievable in such evaluations.
Updating org chart automatically
A new feature that minimizes friction and automates a process that was previously manual for our customers. The SynqUp platform now automatically retrieves org-chart data if the customer uses Okta to integrate the information into the Google workspace.
Admin and reporting dashboard
We added interfaces for the implementation administrators so they can control the deployment configuration. Furthermore, our new dashboarding system allows admins and stakeholders to monitor performance and assess the impact of the SynqUp platform on meeting overload and other KPIs.
Cost calculator feature improvements
In Q3, we enhanced our cost calculator feature with two updates:
Cost calculation now accommodates variable rates according to groups or seniority levels
Costs can be displayed as a range
Non-Speedy meetings detector release
This innovative detector assists companies aiming to promote "speedy meetings" among their employees. The term "speedy meetings," introduced by Google, refers to meetings that conclude 5 or 10 minutes before the hour, giving employees time to reach their next meeting punctually. Companies can utilize this detector to motivate employees to embrace this practice, thus reducing meeting overload and improving employee wellbeing.
